Identity starts with a decision, but it only becomes real through repetition.
At some point, you decide who you want to be. Disciplined, focused, kind, resilient. That moment matters because it sets direction. Without it, life drifts.

But a decision alone doesn’t change you. It fades if nothing follows.
What makes identity real is the journey after the decision, your daily actions. Every time you show up, follow through, or resist quitting, you’re casting a vote for who you are becoming.

The truth is simple. Intention defines the direction, but action defines the identity.
So instead of asking, “Who do I want to become for life?”
ask, “What am I proving today?”
Because identity isn’t built in one moment.
It’s built in many small ones that you choose to repeat.

This is a great post. My favorite line is, ‘The truth is simple. Intention defines the direction, but action defines the identity.”

Thank you dearest Mary!
I’m glad you love that line, I think it’s the most important message because it truly has immense impact on how we operate in our lives and how we grow as we go forward.
Always looking forward to your thoughts! 😁🌺
